I actually had little experience with the Magic Arms so far, for the simple reason that I had a bad experience with cheap ball heads. Until now, I was of the opinion that the Magic Arms were no better anyway and would not be able to hold properly. Since the product was now from K&F, I wanted to give their Magic Arm a chance, especially since I've been very satisfied with almost all products so far. So I chose the longest version, 11 inches. I work as a videographer and mainly travel to weddings. 90% of the time I'm out and about with a gimbal, but the remaining 10% I'm holding a camera in one hand and an LED light in the other. Of course I could screw the light directly onto the camera, but I didn't want direct light — that's why I keep the lamp and the camera far apart. I wanted to make things a bit easier for myself with the Magic Arm. So I screwed on the camera and the light, aligned them to the desired position and tightened the screw. I have to say: It's really good! During the entire period, the screw on the camera was only loosened once (not screwed well). However, the joint itself was securely locked. I ended up using the Magic Arm as a kind of camera mount by shifting the load of the camera onto my left arm. You have to say: There are really many application scenarios that the part offers, and since the quality is also good, I can easily recommend it.
