Well-constructed creative filter
The four-pointed star effect is consistent and predictable, transforming point light sources into stars with well-defined arms. The intensity of the effect varies depending on the aperture used, being most pronounced at f/8 or higher.
The filter screws securely onto 82mm lenses without excessive play, and the rotating ring allows you to adjust the orientation of the star points according to your compositional needs. The optical glass does not introduce noticeable chromatic aberrations or appreciably reduce sharpness in my tests with professional lenses.
I tested the filter in nighttime urban photography, backlit landscapes, and portraits with artificial lighting, and the results were satisfactory in all cases. The three included microfiber cloths are useful for maintenance.
