Reduces Time to Process Senior Portraits
During my many decades as a serious amateur and professional photographer I have done countless portraits with both film and with modern digital cameras. Modern high-end cameras, including my newest mirror-less model, have incredible sharpness which is not always appreciated by my older subjects whose faces reveal the ravages of weather and time.
With my portraits on film I would always soften the images in the darkroom which produces a much more flattering look without appearing to be out-of-focus. Now with digital images, I can make significant changes with my portrait software but it requires time-consuming post-photography processing. Having this diffusion filter is now a time saver because portraits taken with it are already flattering. That reduces and sometimes eliminates the time I must spend processing my portraits.
