Ah, the wonder of watching time pass in mere seconds!
This little contraption is quite the companion for anyone interested in capturing the grand theatre of life's transformations. I set off on the journey of recording our garden’s seasonal changes, and despite its quirks, it didn’t let me down. Right off the bat, be prepared to equip this device with a hefty 12 AA batteries, surely not the lightest, though you can opt for fewer for shorter durations.
Its photo and video quality? Decently crisp at 1080P, making wildlife and weather scenes look quite cinematic. Installing it is a bit of a faff, especially for us impatient folk, and the weight feels like I’m carrying my DSLR with a hefty lens. However, once settled, this camera diligently buzzes on, immortalising days into minutes.
For nighttime or gloomy day shoots, the LED feature is incredibly useful. Yet, bear in mind, it’s a hands-on experience, getting the perfect focus can be fiddly without remote access.
