This is a fantastic backpack - it looks pretty sophisticated and is entirely suitable for business attire, but it is also highly functional. The front pocket easily detaches (held on by zippers so is secure when it is attached). The laptop section easily fits my MacBook which is enclosed in an additional protective sleeve because I'm paranoid. I also fit in in a large, thick notebook and my iPad in that area. In the middle pocket I'm able to keep all of my gadget peripherals, plus pen cases, personal hygiene stuff. The bag with all my daily stuff is nowhere near full All in all it has a great capacity. I was also pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is to wear on my back - possibly the most comfortable backpack I've had. The side pockets are also a really good size. I'm able to fit my contigo water bottle in one and contigo West loop travel mug 2.0 I'm the other. Both feel secure and haven't dropped out once even when putting the backpack on or taking it off. The only downside for me is the lock for the laptop section. The numbers are really hard to see, and it's fiddly to change the combination. Then again a 2 digit combination isn't that hard to crack, but it would hopefully slow someone down and irritate the hell out of them! All-in-all I'm so pleased with this bag - it's fantastic value and locks far more expensive than it actually was.
