A nice camera for the trail and other creative applications
This is my review of the K&F Concept Trail Camera First off, I think it's a good average trail camera. I've had it long enough to put it through its paces. It takes 4 AA batteries (not included) and uses an SD card to store the images (32GB card included). The case opens with two sturdy snaps so you have access to the battery compartment, SD card, and controls. It also has a small LED screen where you can preview your photos and videos. It has some nice features like time lapse and restricts others from accessing the information with a password (recommended). There is a port on the bottom that allows you to use an external power supply, but this would be an additional purchase. You can download the images directly from the unit using the included USB cable, or you can remove the SD card and plug it directly into your computer card reader. I've used it in sunny and evening situations, and the quality and focus of the images and videos are more than acceptable. Aside from the obvious situations (security, wildlife), I've used it in a unique way by setting it up at the end of a 10k run and setting it to motion detection. As each participant ran past, the camera took a photo and it was time stamped. A nice camera with lots of uses.
