This children’s microscope is super fun and educational. So many useful and helpful features. It’s magnification, 50x – 1000x, is vibrant and easy to see. Such clarity. Our favorite feature is how you can connect this microscope to cell phones and computers making it even more educational because you can easily look at the images over and over again. It comes with a cloth carrying bag making storage easy. It’s portable. Perfect for everything we’ve tried so far, insects and rocks and things. High quality design and materials. Strong and durable. Super fun. Super happy. Would definitely highly recommend this awesome and educational microscope for kids or novice adults. Overall, we’re giving this easy to use, high quality device ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

My eight year old grandson is very into science and nature so I knew this would be the perfect gift for him.
I love that it comes with already prepared slides so he could jump right in and use it rather than having to find a specimen.
The magnetic clips hold the slides firmly in place. The scope itself is easy to use. It focuses easily and gives a really good close up view of the specimen.
I love that the scope is detachable and that it comes with a thick, nicely weighed case.
The box is giftable. I hate orders that come in a plain brown box so even after your child unwraps the present they still don't know what it is!
This is a great starter microscope.

Fun little magnifier. This would be a great introduction to microscopes for children.
I'm not sure of the claim of 10,000x magnification. I took pictures of a remote and then zoomed in at it's max magnification so you could judge for yourself.

Packaging was nice. The product is pretty self explanatory. The manual was a little thin on words, but it's ok. There was a part in the box that isn't mentioned in the manual and I couldn't figure out how to attach it. It's may have fallen in at the factory, I don't know. Seems odd a compete part wouldn't be mentioned in the manual.

All in all, it's a pretty fun toy.

This is more than just for kids. Adults can use this too. 1000x magnification, you can look at pond water, circuit boards and anything tiny you can imagine. Explore a world right in our very own. I have used this to look at flowers, circuit boards and a key fob that needed repairing and it works excellently.

A couple of highlights:
* Built-in Wifi connectivity allows you to use this with the DLScope app on your mobile phone which allows you to use your phone screen as the display for the microscope as well as take pictures and video.
* USB connectivity allows you to use this with your computer as an external camera. No drivers were needed for me. I was able to use this with the included "Camera" program in Windows.
* Adjustable LED lights in the microscope illuminate the subject.
* Adjustable LED lights in the base as well that allows you to illuminate behind as well. The microscope can be detached from the based and used standalone.
* Various slides included with different specimens to look at. However, there's a plastic film that is part of the label as part of the slides that obscures the specimens a bit
* Image quality and resolution is suprisingly good considering the price, size and intended audience ("for kids" according to the product title)

And a few areas that were not impressive:
* The microscope twists apart very easily. If you are not careful, you'll end up ripping this thin ribbon cable between the top and bottom halves.
* NOT 1000x zoom as it claims. There's only one optical zoom level and any "zooming" would be done digitally
* There's an attachment that's included that looks like a tiny specimen container that spins as well as allowing you slide it back and forth. The instructions make no mention of this attachment and what you're supposed to do with it. My guess is that you can use it for liquids, but the way it's designed, it's very difficult to get your fingers to it

Overall though it's a fun and easy to use microscope that allows you to easily carry it around and look at many objects up close. You might want to avoid putting this up to the skin on your face though as it tends to reveal a lot of blackheads that you might not have been aware of

This is a fun piece! The scope part is removable from the base for mobile viewing (using the ap on phone or pad). Put batteries into the base for adjustable illumination and put the scope in place for stationary viewing.

It comes with a set of prepared slides. Nice to introduce young people to magnification. My partner teaches special ed, she took the scope for a day and the kids loved it!

This is a pretty cool setup. It comes with a bunch of pre-prepared slides you can look at which are pretty neat. It was surprisingly easy to pair with my phone and look at the images through my phone camera. I wish it had a little more magnification but for what it is, it works well.

I always wanted a microscope as a kid. When I finally got access to an old one,y parents were very supportive of helpful with using it or nurturing the science exploration. I digress.... that's not the problem of the product...but having an easy to use, but decent quality microscope for child use is pretty awesome. This isn't as fancy or powerful as the high end stuff, but this is plenty for kids getting introduced to microscopes. This is a bit more sturdy against abuse from kids than the nice expensive stuff. also, This is a much lower price point than a high end microscope.
This thing is pretty awesome. Do your kids a favor and introduce them to some science. There isn't enough of that in the world.
It's also lightweight and portable. The ability to connect electronically is nice, but not necessary.

If you have a little scientist I would highly recommend this! It is fun and easy to use. Definitely something I would recommend for younger aged children as it's not exactly "high tech" but it is perfect for starting out.

I got this for my kid and she loves it. It was very easy to set up. The app works well on her iphone. It's light weight and very portable. You can detach the microscope from the base and take it anywhere. The included sample slides are very neat and educational. It seems durable and kid friendly.
