Saved me $600 on a surveyor
We purchased a property with 18 acres three years ago. When we did this, a survey was done and the boundaries were marked. Unfortunately our neighbor decided to remove the above ground markers and has been encroaching our property. We called the original surveyor and asked him to resurvey about 400 feet of open land. He quoted $600 for about 60 minutes (or less) of work. Needless to say, we took our rudimentary survey map, our even more rudimentary survey skills and this metal detector. In two hours we had the pins found and T-posts on the lot line. What a great investment this was.
