Temporary use
This helped a few times I needed to see in a small crevice. After using to find a dropped card in my car, it managed to get dust inside the lense. I soaked the camera end in rubbing alcohol overnight after trying everything to get the dust out. Shockingly the dust was still dry as can be in the morning. I’m not sure how it got in there if liquid wouldn’t even penetrate. Could have been in there to start. Nothing else explains it.
