Located tool quickly
The Pinpointer is easy to operate and has adequate sensitivity without false triggers. After receiving it, I installed the battery and did o few quick tests on coins. I knew that I had a something to test it on. Last Fall I dropped a driver bit from the ladder while working on the roof eaves.
I couldn't find it and assumed that it fell into the hydrangea plant. I tried using a search coil, but the coil would not get into the plant past the stems.
I took the Pinpointer outside to the hydrangea, and after a few pokes into the plant (2nd photo), located the driver bit (1st photo) which had speared itself into the base . The whole process took less than 10 minutes from the time I went out the door!
