Nice tool
don't play golf, but I like gadgets and I've wanted to try binoculars with an integrated range finder for a long time. The package also includes a shot list, instructions and a bunch of pins to place the golf ball. The matching, somewhat more exotic battery (CR2) is also included, even from Panasonic. It comes with a nice hard case with automatic closure (by stretch band). Inside you will find a carabiner, loop and cleaning cloth. The operation is not very intuitive, but understandable after a look at the instructions. I find the rangefinder a bit too small to use comfortably and I don't really have big hands. But it has a good grip and is visually well designed anyway. The measurement is even successful through windows, which I would not have thought. The focus can be adjusted easily, but unfortunately not with one hand. The values match as far as I could check. With a resolution of only one meter, this is also very tolerant.

Great range finder at a fair price
When I was looking for a good range finder for my favorite hobby, I came across this beautiful product and am now reporting on a week's experience. -Packaging, optics, first impression- A handy package with enclosed branded battery, a few tees, cleaning cloth, instructions, loop for attachment and a nice hard-shell case with belt loops for safe storage. The device's colors are so vibrant that I can safely ignore my innate talent for losing new stuff. I think I can find the range finder in every green. Due to the completely rubberized surface, the Birdie fits perfectly in your hand and stays there. -Use- Thanks to the included battery, I was able to get started immediately, I always like to ignore the instructions for the time being. With only 2 buttons, the device can be easily operated and switched through all modes and settings. The various crosshairs can be read clearly and the other displays are clearly visible but not arranged in a disruptive manner. Unfortunately, we did not have a second laser to check the displayed values. Instead, we compared the values with GPS and Google Maps - amazingly precise! FlagFinder with vibration and the SLOPE function can be switched on and off individually and work just as well. -Conclusion- For the price I expected middle class, but got upper class! In my opinion, the Birdie is in no way inferior to more expensive models. From now on it will never leave my belt.

Does what it's supposed to
It's my first rangefinder, so I have no comparison and due to the corona virus, it hasn't been used too often. Nevertheless, my impression so far: The device is quickly ready for use and easy to use. However, reading the German operating instructions is recommended for beginners. But then quickly taken out of the bag, held in front of the eye and pressed the button and the result is there. Even if a point is measured several times, the distance remains constant. (Of course you have to make sure that you really aim at the flag, sometimes I got strange results, but then I had to realize that a tree or something behind it was aimed at.) When making my choice, it was important to me that the device was also on the driving range helps. These expectations were also met, if there are not too many balls in the landing area, I even manage to identify the ball and measure my distance. I have one problem though. When using it, I found that I trembled a lot when aiming - which makes it difficult to take accurate and quick measurements. But that's not my fault with the device. In short: So far I'm really satisfied.

Does what it promises
As a good golfer, it is essential to know how far the next shot actually has to be. This laser helps immensely. The distances I measure with them almost always agree with the devices from K&F Concept or similar, and as already described here, the differences mostly come from rounding errors. It is crucial to know that you should always use the same equipment, regardless of whether it is training, at home or abroad. With always the same device you always get the same distances. Handling the laser is very simple: look in, press the button and when the target appears, aim at the flag (or other target) and you will see the distance. What impressed me is that the laser also works perfectly in the rain, backlight (sometimes a problem for others) and fog. I've never had any problems finding the correct distance and actually play in (almost) any weather. Regarding the battery: I play quite a lot and therefore the laser is used quite a lot. After almost a year, I still haven't had to change the battery... If anyone is interested in a laser, they should definitely take a closer look here, the price is unbeatable in terms of performance.

First impression: good
Since I'm not a golfer myself (or not yet), I asked a friend to take the device with him on a round on a course that he already knows quite well and can therefore also assess the values: 1. Scope and commissioning: the device is well and cleanly processed, but plastic. A couple of teas were included as gifts. The device is quickly ready for use, the batteries are included. 2. In practice: the functions are quite intuitive and easy to use. On the whole, the FlagFinder option works quite well - the values seem plausible. The slope function, on the other hand, doesn't seem to work that well, at least on the test course - the values then had a fairly high fluctuation range, which is why the player deactivated them again. All in all, my acquaintance found that the device is a very helpful tool, especially for new courses - he would definitely like to test the device further - hence a previous initial statement: basic functions are good, slope function is medium - handling is okay - almost 4 / 5.

TOP price-performance ratio
After the laser has now been used several times on the round, a very positive conclusion can be drawn. The laser can easily keep up with higher-priced models due to the processing and the equipment. I can recommend the laser to everyone who is looking for a high-quality but inexpensive device

You should have this range finder in your bag
This is already my second range finder for our holiday home. It couldn't be easier or more precise. I sold my 4-year-old K&F Concept Laser because it only recorded the position after multiple measurements. In no way comparable to the new laser. Faster, more accurate and with higher contrast. For an ambitious golfer only recommended. Has prevented so many failures for me.!! Better than any golf watch as the exact pin position is captured instantly and confirmed by vibration. Highly recommended!!
