Good camera, leaks after awhile
Insert sd card wrap it around a tree turn it on and basically your good to go. Now obviously there are a couple of settings to benefit the user, if I can do it you can do it also. We have had some great videos, usually of the deer walking upto the camera but many in action.

So far excellent response and easy to setup. Can
Finally all set up! Working on WIFI. Driving the remote is easy on my local WIFI, a little bit delayed on the slower clunkier WFI at the docks (the WFI delay is at fault), but even this I learned in a few minutes, just move elevation and traverse in quick presses, waiting for the delayed response to finish. This way you avoid overshoot. I-phone App works very well, and I mounted on a pole mount adapter with a telescoping bracket also on Amazon. I did mod the telescoping bracket I purchased on Amazon a bit to get full 90 degree motion to mount camera level. That makes it easier to point at a specific target at a set height without adjusting both elevation and traverse at the same time to acquire a view. Motion detection is adjustable and works well. I intend to set up cloud storage.I love the quality and ability to check on things when not on site. This will be a real test of the unit. Even though it is 12+ feet up a radar mast so not in seawater, the harbor is a pretty harsh windy environment. I did seal the solar cell plug connection with good electronic silicone dielectric paste just to be sure no moisture intrudes into the plug socket. It shouldn't harm the seal material and should provide extra durability.I looked a long time at many units and selected this camera based on reviews and matching up directly to a phone and WIFI. Very pleased so far.Am thrilled with the results so far.

Good manual Speedlite flash
This is a good manual flash. I picked up five of these. They all work well with my Canon 6D, works with Phottix Strato II radio triggers, great for added flash. If you put these in Mode S1 they can be triggered by another flash going off. Kind of comes in handy that way. I had 4 of these hooked to radio triggers and one just on a stand with no radio receiver, put it in s1 mode and it still triggered. So you can still have this pretty far from your camera as long as it is close to another remote flash, if it see's the flash it goes off. It also has a PC input, so you could have have one on a hot shoe radio receiver and if your radio receiver has a PC Flash out run a wire over to it and fire two off one radio receiver if you didn't want to rely on the S1 flash trigger. So there are a few options for getting it to fire off camera. It has a handy test flash button. This flash is the same size and basic shape as my Canon 580 EX II but does not have the Canon extra features; like no ETTL; no hi-speed sync, no first curtain and second curtain. It's just a basic manual single pin flash that works on camera or of, can be triggered from other flashes like Canon 580 EX II on your camera, just set the flash to S1, 3 modes; Manual S1 and S2.MANUAL MODE is just a basic hot shoe mount triggered flash, or PC line triggered flash.S1 MODE the flash will trigger when it sees another flash go off.S2 MODE the flash will trigger on the second flash it see's, this is in case you want it to ignore your cameras pre-flash.Manual Flash is great and some photographers prefer working with manual flash because they don't like how ETTL could put out more flash power than they want, they prefer to fine tune their light for their photos. If you work with these for a while you'll quickly get the hang of setting your power levels for even shadowless shots.I give this flash a big thumbs up. Good value and a good build quality. I know other pro photographers using them. They come with a plastic stand similar to the one that comes with the Canon 580 EX II, plus their stand has a standard Metz screw hole that will allow you to easily attach it to a stand if needed. It takes 4 AA batteries just like the Canon 580 EX II. Very easy push buttons that feel like they have a solid build and easy to read LED indicators for power level setting and mode and when flash has cycled and is recharged ready to go again.Great for photographers just getting started into photography on a budget or pros. You can't beat the price. Granted they are not Canon 600EX-RTs, but you can buy 5 of these for under $200, the trade off is they are only manual flashes.

All the way from Okinawa Japan!
PRO:1. Used outdoors, so white is best as to not absorb the heat of the sun.2. Brand name and if it breaks, I'm going to get a replacement one no matter what Ring and Amazon says.3. Nice wide angle, motion zone, etc. etc. etc. read the other reviews for all that spec stuff.4. I'm on assignment to Okinawa Japan at this time and I can use the ring app and see this dang near real time. If folks complain about "slow" then it's your ISP and your internet use, not the app or the camera. Upgrade your stuff folks. I'm all the way in Japan and can see this fast.CON:1. None so far, BUT, where I have it placed, it's gonna melt. It gets 122 degrees in the summer, and it rains in the winter, so lets see how well this plastic holds up.2. It's mounted up so high, the voice part is useless for my needs.OTHER:1. BUY if you want to add a Ring camera to you account.2. DON'T BUY if you think this will hold-up in harsh conditions, I have $100.00 bet with my son, it'll die in a few months of hot weather.3. We drilled holes in the base so as to attach it to a rod-iron-railing with zip ties, on the front of our house, on the second floor. We have some fancy dancey rod-iron-railing things on / in front of our house.

Excellent picture quality. Great value
The media could not be loaded.

HistoryThis is my second Jidetech camera. The goodThe unit is well built, including inside electronics.Mechanics is super quiet.Picture quality is excellent.Auto focus works really well, both day and night. The unit comes with DHCP as default from the factory - no need to mess with static default IP change.ONVIF support seems to work well with basic PTZ controls (I am using existing NVR and generic iOS app)Night vision is outstanding (the best I ever seen so far). What could be better. While unit comes with detailed manual, yet translation is far from ideal.Built-in UI needs either windows with IE plugin (included) or Flash (dead technology of January 12, 2021).While basic parameters could be configured using any modern browser/OS, HTML5 support would be nice.OtherThe camera has fish-eye like optics - initially, I did not like it.After installation, I realized that it helps cover substantially bigger area.Power consumptionDaytime usage is 2 watts (only). At night it is considerably higher - 9W (perhaps due to sizable IR LED array)When used indoors, the unit gets warm when all IR LED are activated. This is not an issue outdoors due to natural coolingSummary.Value/Cost offer is outstanding. This is not a plug-and-play unit that does its all functions well well

Short cord, work great
So let me preface this by saying I am pretty stupid when it comes to stuff like this, I thought these things costs hundreds of dollars and that we needed some sort of subscription deal for them.. turns out they are super quick and easy to set up, they connect to home wifi, and they work great. Some draw backs: the camera quality isnt amazing. Up close it is, but about 5 steps away, no. There is no mounting hardware included. So that stinks. The cord is short. Now that I know how these things work, i think i would have preferred wireless ones that are mounted so we could get them higher and get more range out of them, but the price point is great and these definitely work very well. I already got a full return on investment because i accidentally left my outside faucet on with the hose running into my in-ground pool all night. My mother was not answering her phone when i blew her up the next morning once I remembered. I used my house cameras to locate her in my home and found her sleeping in the chair. I was able to use the two way radio feature to wake her and alert her before i flooded my house. All in all, these camera’s are great. Pair these with the 4 pack door alarms amazon sells for $20 and youve got yourself a pretty decent home security system for just a hair over $100

I'm very skeptical of helicopter parenting. I'd rather kids learn things on their own (with a bit of my help), and the idea of having a camera that constantly is pinging my phone to tell me the baby took a sneeze in bed is not my idea of a good time. That being said, the Lollipop is one of the only things I bought new (thx Facebook Marketplace), and I don't regret it at all. It's an incredible camera that's worth every penny.Baby sleeps upstairs, so it can be a bit hard to hear her sometimes. Lollipop lets me put on different sensitivity settings for noise (so you can make it super sensitive and ring your phone, or you can make it not very sensitive so she really has to yell to get your attention). You can customize the ringer as well, so if you just want a push notification instead of a ring, that works too.The night vision is perfect, and it's nice to be able to quickly scroll back in time to see other hilarious moments of baby yelling haha. They make it seem like you're going to have all these nice snapshots of the baby doing cute things, but it really mostly records when she's crying and needs help, so it's kind of sadistic in that way.Would be nice if it was cordless as the cord is annoying to plug in for such a portable device. But that's really not possible until we have wireless power now is it?

Well thought out product!
Love this product!I love being able to see my two month old baby without having to go into the room to disturb her. Most importantly, I can put her down and leave the room to check when she falls asleep, when she wakes up, quality of her nap (without her crying), giving me the knowledge to better discern when to put her down for her next nap.Great picture quality. Great night vision, especially useful since my baby sleeps better in a dark room.Love that I can hear my baby even when the monitor is on sleep mode. Despite the baby’s room having white noise right next to the camera, the white noise coming from the monitor is not loud.Love that there is a visual on the monitor so I can see if my baby is crying without the sound on. The visual is awesome because it can distinguish white noise from a cry (green vs red) which is super helpful!Love the talking function as well, though I haven’t had to use it. It will come in handy once my baby is older and I want to use it as a way to communicate with her.My only critique is the pan. I wish it would pan downward a little bit more, though we were able to solve that problem by moving the camera further back.Well thought out product! Highly recommend!
