UPDATE (11-22-2020)We are changing our initial review from a 3 to a 5 star and for good reason.It has been years since having the opportunity and pleasure to deal with a company like Soliom that absolutely cares about the customer's opinion and the quality of their products.The customer service at Soliom is outstanding! Working with Lucy (CSR) as the go between with the technicians at Soliom for about a week, trying to figuring out the quirks I mentioned in my initial review, without hesitation or asking they shipped us an upgraded version of the S600 free of charge.These days that kind of instinctive customer service is very rare to encounter.We must have picked the Lemon in the batch of Cherries the first go around cause we put up the new camera two days ago and so far its working GREAT!So far we have not experienced ANY of the issues that we have had with the first one.We're retracting my statement from the initial reviews form "Ok just to have. Not reliable." to WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAMERA!!!!To Soliom and Lucy: Thank you for caring about the customer (us) and your product. It has been an absolute pleasure doing business with youConcept is good, reality of it not so much. If you're looking for a camera just to have "in case" and to deter criminals when they see it, ok. But if you need one that is reliable I would not recommend.Very sporadic in how it works, when it wants to work.Slow to alert, receive alert on phone sometimes 1-10-15-30 minutes after camera alerts to something. Never immediately. Yes sensitivity is high.Confusing alerts:"Power on" what the heck is that? I thought this thing is supposed to be on all the time."Other event" must be those pesky space aliens again."Activity detected" 50% of the time nothing can be seen moving. System alerts after object is half way or completely left camera view. No matter the sensitivity setting or record time. Sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes for the recording to show in the listed recordings. Recorded video skips/jumps.Our WiFi is top strength so nothing about the issues of this device have anything to do with that.Image quality is lacking. If within ten feet, ok. Beyond that very fuzzy. Not HD. Don't even think of snapping photos of something moving or obtaining video of Nothing moving faster than 15mph. Or try to zoom on an object.Looking for detailed video or images, this is not the camera.Battery capacity is confusing. I put six fully charged 18650 batteries in it, during daytime shows fully charged, then an hour into the night the battery shows completely drained, then in the morning shows full again. At night if I move the camera around the bar turns red and says "battery low please recharge". I ignore it and in the morning bars show full again. ??All in all, better than having nothing. Had the purchase price been more I'd take the time to drag out the ladder, climb up it, take it down, climb back up to repair the drilled holes, climb back up to paint over them, then package up the system and then drive to the package store to ship it back. Um no. I have better things to do. Instead, I'll just leave it up as a deterrent.Highly recommend spending the money and getting a real camera system installed, don't purchase the one.I'm going to write Soliom about all the issues. I will provide an up date if they provide explanations/fixes.

I have absolutely no complaints about this product. I was recently in the market for a new camera and after much research decided to buy this one. We are primarily a Nikon family but I was really drawn to the features and the price of this camera so I went ahead and purchased just before our vacation to Florida. I don't have a lot of experience with DSLR cameras, but was shocked by how easy it was to use. I had no trouble figuring out all the settings and was able to take a great picture pretty quickly. It may not be the newest model but I highly suggest it anyway!

I love this item. It was easy to assemble. It can be used anywhere and it was so simple to use. This product made it easier for me to take pictures and videos at a good distance and height my choice. The remote made life easy. Great Item

It's a great little camera stand and won't blow over with a wind. It had 3 legs and made with aluminum so its very light. It also doubles as a selfy stick and you can do a lot with this. Great product, great price and fast shipping. Nothing at all to complain about. 5 stars.

I really like how small this camera is! It is Very little and can be placed anywhere (as long as you can plug it in.) The cord that comes with it is pretty long too so you wont need extensions or anything. Set up took literally 2 mins to get it going on the Switchbot app. The clarity of the image is VERY good and I have been using this both for day and night time viewing of my basement area.I also love how it integrates with all the other products from Switchbot that I own. The motion detection has been excellent so far as well. I know that if anything happens I can always contact switchbot as they have great support ( I own a few bots, meter, hub, and curtain). I highly recommend this company's products versus going with an unknown brand.
