I received this camera the other day. Setup was pretty straight forward. Note you will need 8 AA batteries and a SD Card to get things going. I use cameras more for monitoring my property for security than for hunting. I set it up looking into the woods/trail behind my property.The camera takes really clear pictures. I would post them, but they are mostly of my kids and my dog. My kids thought they saw big foot in a blue t-shirt, but that was just their dad.By luck I was able to see if the camera is water tight. It was out in the woods during a steady heavy rain. I went out after the storm to check it out and the internals were completely dry. So, yup, this is watertight.Mounting: The kit includes a long strap (approximately 50 inches) to strap it to a tree. There are a number of plastic "spikes" on the back of the unit to give it a little more grip to the bark. Also included was a mounting bracket that would let you mount this to a fixed structure like a blind, tree stand, porch or house siding if you wish.Also there is a locking ring on the back if you want to use a padlock to secure the card/camera.I recommend this unit as a nice compact camera system. It does what it advertises.
