Great set of kids beginners binoculars
Great set of beginner binoculars.Got these for my 5 year old son so he can see the birds and squirrels that hang out at the local park. He’s really been enjoying these on our walks. They are real easy to put together, you basically just snap them into place. What’s even cooler is that you can turn them into monoculars, so we can split them and we can each have one to search the park. Took a bit to get them focus correctly, but we figured it out after a few tries.You can’t go wrong for the price.

Good gift for a kid, but parts are cheap
Really easy to set up and use. I searched for a YouTube video. The guide they give you is pretty much useless.The scope itself is a little flimsy, weighs very little, very portable. Can fit well in the given backpack. Their app makes identifying seen stars easy but obviously the auto focus, locate automatic functions not available for this cheap version.I watched a couple youtube videos and was able to find Jupiter(it’s moons appear as tiny dots), Saturn (Ring appears as a glow), moon(able to see craters), many constellations. Unable to see much else. Can locate stars but they re still just dots. Unable to see much of nebulas (just smudges really).Tripod is very shaky and takes a while to get hang of to adjust easily. I bought this scope on discount for prime day. Not sure I would pay more than that but overall a great gift for a kid/amateur.

great for beginners!
Can’t figure out how to focus the phone to the image being received by the telescope but I think that’s more user error than anything. The view of the moon is stupendous. Pretty decent for a beginner.

Great Nights out
I have always had a interest in astronomy, love taking photo's of the moon. Having recently moved where thereare not so many street lights i made perfect sense. The Celestron 114 is a great machine to start with, with some help wasn't too difficult to put together, it helped not reading the instructions in German! Waiting for a filter to come so we can view the moon.

My daughter loves this telescope. She's 8 years old and loves being able to look at the moon through it. Can't wait till summer when she can stay out later and it won't be so cold.

Beautiful
So many options on this thing! Colors, brightness, timer options--can totally customize it however you like. I also like that it can either be charged or just left plugged in. The detail on it is very nice--definitely looks like your own little moon.

Quality easy beginner telescope
My daughter has been asking for a telescope for a few years now. She turned seven and we chose this one for her. She was over the moon! Given the cost telescopes can be this is great for the price. Easy to put together an maneuver, not overly large! She also loves there were two mini poster like things in the box. One of the moon, the other of the planets. Very, very user and beginner friendly!

Nice telescope
My daughter got the telescope for Christmas and has really been enjoying it. The picture is clear and her favorite part is the cell phone attachment so she can take photos of the moon with her phone.

Great telescope!
I bought this telescope for my boyfriend’s birthday. He has always wanted one and we have had so much fun learning to use it. It gives amazing views. We are amateurs and were so awed by our first look at the moon. The pictures I attached can be taken from the phone accessory, which is easy to use. Of course, the views directly in the telescope are even better, as you can really explore around the surface of the moon. We also got a pretty good view of Jupiter. Can’t wait for warm weather so we can explore so much more!
