It's not a BOSE, but it sounds very good, it's easy to use, and it costs less than a dishwasher.
I got this to replace an older Doss box, about the same size, that my kids managed to lose somewhere. This one is even better, sound-wise, and is a little smaller. It's also easy to use. It hooks up to the Bluetooth in my phone more quickly than any other speaker. Low frustration.There's the usual confusion (for me) about where the best volume control is -- is it in the app? The phone itself? Or the speaker? But it does manage to get nice and loud, louder than makes sense for a little cube thingy. The Allman Brothers sound like the Allman Brothers. Marvin Gaye sounds like Marvin Gaye. Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats sounds like Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats.Again, you're not buying a BOSE. But if you drop it in the street and a garbage truck runs over it, you won't weep. You can get another one. And with the extra money you save, you can go out for a nice dinner.
