I received this as a Christmas gift this year. I was looking for a headset with replaceable parts because the my old pairs kept shorting out in either the aux cord or the microphone. This headset delivers on replaceable parts and more. Granted, I've never bought a super high end headset. That said, among the lower priced headsets that I've tried out, these are the most comfortable and offer the best sound. The material of the earmuffs is very soft and quite breathable. The bass is excellent, especially when the USB cord is used (as opposed to the aux). I only wish they came in a blue color. hahaLet me talk more in depth about the replaceable parts aspect because that was a big selling point for me. If the aux cord shorts out, it would be easy enough to replace with one that has three rings on the tip. It can also lock into place making it much less likely to come out of the headset accidentally. That part would not be as easy to replace. Thankfully, it appears EKSA has replacement aux cords and microphones available on their website for $10 each. Not too shabby. The USB cable is easily replaced with just about anything that works. No special shaped tips or anything like that. The only thing left that worries me a little is the corkscrew shaped cords that connect to the earmuffs. They appear fairly durable and stretchable, but they don't appear to be easily replaceable.These headphones sound best when connected to the PC with 7.1 surround enabled. Next best would be USB connection without 7.1. I have a Switch, PS4, and Xbox One and I tried the USB cable with each. It worked immediately with PS4 and Switch, but not with Xbox One. I read that "sadly Microsoft requires a special communications chip to allow USB devices (headsets, mic, etc) to function on the Xbox One". So I guess that's why. No doubt the 3.5mm still works though. Even with just 3.5mm, the sound is still awesome.All in all, this is the best headset I've ever had and I hope it lasts me a long time.
