great pic quality
I have a 2012 MacBook Air. Everything still works great for working from home except the webcam, which is useless. I got this so people could see me in Zoom calls. They can. It works. It's better. But not great. I saw the video reviews and I can't reproduce the lighting that other people seem to have. All my videos are dark with lots of shadows. When I hooked up my phone as webcam via an unfortunately unstable app I didn't have this problem. So I know a really good camera would be better. So . . . if this is all you can get and you have nothing, this is fine. If you want a really good camera and one of the name brand ones is available, get that.
