very good camera and support
great tech support from wendy hart at Amcrest. Had an issue when the memory card got filled up it did not overwrite, it just stopped. This is the default setting and you cant change it from the iPhone app. Had to get its IP address and log in to change it.Hardware wise I find the cameras I have near perfect ( I have 5 of different resolution from AMcrest). Software wise they need to rewrite most of it. Not easy to figure out how to make even some simple changes. I am an electrical engineer and have used several video systems and this software is far worse than any thing I have used.

Very good camera for the price.
As most reviewers of this camera have already stated, I give the camera itself high marks, but the non user friendly software very low marks. First, they need to get it working with Chrome, which they promise they will and notify customers via email when that's done. Next, they need to make the camera so that panning and tilting is more quiet. The mechanical 'wurring' sound it makes, is a dead giveaway that you are monitoring a room. Of course with the wide angle view, I suppose there's no reason not to use it as a stationary monitoring device. It looks like there are many functions available once you've figured out how to get this software onto your computer, and you do need to do that if you want full functionality of the many options available.Let me recap my experience from the time the camera arrived at our home. I was able to figure out how to get it to function via our router/modem and the included Ethernet cable, but was unable to get it to pair with our wifi connection, so, 4 days of sending emails to Amcrest and getting promises of someone contacting us, which never happened, and I was starting to feel I had a nice camera that would be tethered to an area next to our router, where I didn't want or need it. I tried calling their customer service 2 days ago, but after a 15 min. wait on hold, I gave up and again asked them via email to contact me. Fast forward 2 days and still no call, so this afternoon I called again, and after a short wait got to speak with 'Dustin', who was very helpful and patient. He took control of our laptop, with my permission and got me squared away in about 15 minutes. He was even able to get my tablet hooked up with the Amcrest app, which I had installed, but couldn't get to work. So, with wifi now working with the camera, I was able to move to to where I wanted it and all seems fine. Next I will be viewing more of the tech support videos they have on their website to fine tune some of the other functions I'd like to get working like recording video directly to my HD, ect....maybe I'll wait until the word comes that Chrome OS is up and running with Amcrest! Anyway, customer service was great....once you're able to get in touch with them. Thanks, Dustin! Very nice, wide angle, clear view of the area we'll be monitoring, so I hope we're in for many yrs. of use with our 1080p pro cam. If you're an IT person, or build computers for a living, you may have much less problems than a mid level 'techie', (at best!), like me. But with some patience, they'll get you online and up and running. Melissa also wanted a 'shout out' so hey, Melissa, thanks for trying to help. When you folks say you'll initiate a call, you should do that and not tell customers you couldn't because you were busy. Anyway. Great camera, fair to good support, very poor software at this point and you will most likely need to get involved with customer support to get things up and running. Good luck.

Very Good Customer Support
Love the camera. Easy set up. Had to contact customer support, wait time was minimal. I spoke with Amanda- she was helpful and was able to resolve the problem I was having with the notifications.

Very good IP camera.
It does the job. Nothing to complain about. Just make sure there is a strong Internet connection.

Very Good For Casual User
I don't anticipating to much action other than hiking and bike rides and outdoor work for my job. I think this product will fulfill my needs.

Looks good and very small
Looks good and very small, small enough to fit in a shirt pocket. Excellent price and delivery. It would have been a nice addition to be able to change more settings with the remote control. Off to Egypt to photograph some marine fish. Will report further after our holiday.
