Useful and handy
I use this ball head to support and position my iPhone while taking photos and making movies. It is well constructed, light and serves this task well.

Super Clamps Double Balled
I use these for a variety of items but mainly for my Go Pro Cameras when I am on site filming a pod cast or actually doing a live stream. The double head ball swivels allow for the most difficult angles in setting the camera and the clamp's wide opening allows me to clamp onto almost anything.

More Pros Than Cons
Yes, I read all of the reviews before choosing to purchase this tripod/head. TBH, the smoothness of the head drag was the most important to me, so the head had to function as advertised. It didn't. The (first) head I received with the sticks was horrendous - like unusable, both pan and tilt. The tilt knob neither slowed nor locked tilt, and the pan movement felt like driving on a gravel road. I have no idea how any manufacturing company would allow this to leave their factory. So when I wrote directly to the seller (Cayer), they immediately apologized and sent me a brand new replacement head at no charge to me (and I didn't even have to return the bad head) which I received within three days. And the replacement is better than any fluid head I've used, anywhere near this price range - just like it was supposed to be in the first place. So while I think this is a killer tripod and head for the money, and their customer service is excellent, I had to deduct one star for a problem that shouldn't have existed in the first place. If you choose to buy this tripod, just consider that the seller will step up to make you happy with the purchase if anything goes wrong.

Great Shooting Angles.
Cons: unscrewing the legs are bothersome, rather having the latches to extend the legs. There's no level to move the cam around the ball head; have to use the own camera as leverage.Pros: good size to carry, give many options in terms of rotation and angles, the weigh is not as light as I thought, 5lbs. It must have a reason for that.

Versatile and convenient - It's a grip, selfie sti

This is one thing that does lots of things. When it's folded up, the base makes a great grip. The ball head is rock-solid without having to bear down on the tightening screw. And being just 6" long and weighing less than 3-1/2 ounces, it fits easily in a pocket, purse, or pack.

Brilliant fantastic.
Have had a few ball heads now, always the cheep ones that was a mistake because they always creped, which meant longer time setting your picture up, when taking wild life you have not always got the time to mess about. With this ball head its not a problem let go of the trigger and it locks up solid fantastic I would have saved a lot of money if I had bought this first, so you get what you pay forBuy one you deserve one.

Solidly built, 1/4turn leg adjustment, sturdy
I wrote a review previously that mentioned an odd screw size in the ball head plate. Had to get my calipers out to precisely measure it. Not odd, just metric! I expected a 1/4-20 screw, and it is a 10mm x 1mm pitch screw. Works fine. Only issue I have with this tripod is actually the ball head performance, and the 'L' leg extension to extend the camera horizontally. When tightening the screw to securely to keep the horizontal arm from moving(rotating), it moves the arm from where it is at whatever vertical angle you have it set at(expected 90 degrees), and now is something other than where it was originally set. You have to fiddle with it a bit to get it where you want it. I was doing some macro photography and this, by itself, was quite irritating. However, aside from this problem, the rest of the unit is very solid and well built. The 1/4 turn release on the leg extensions is very nice, compared to my Slik of 10+ years that requires several turns to release and secure. Nice! As another commenter said, 'I don't know yet what the rubber O ring is for on the horizontal arm' - I don't either.... Maybe the mfr can explain what it is for.

Very nice ball head - better than the smaller Giot
The larger side knob works very well and the ball holds in place very snug for most small devices. I own several of these as they can hold your phone (on a stand), a camera or GoPro, or even an iPad Mini (with appropriate stand). One of my all time favourite ball heads.
