Description
  • • When using the ND filter to the maximum(ND400) or bigger degree density, it will appear "X" spot or a blurry in the picture, this is a normal phenomenon. • Suggestion:Lower down the density value gradually and reduce the aperture, until the facula disappeared.
  • • ND filters: Reduce the amount of light reaching the film without affecting the color. Can be used to enable slower shutter speeds. Also can be used to better separate subjects from the background by allowing wider apertures, effectively decreasing depth of field.Suitable for dynamic screen, waterfalls, streams, waves, etc.

ND FILTER
Reduces the amount of light entering the lens, thus decreasing camera shutter speed. Useful for situations where motion blur needs to be created (rivers, waterfalls, moving people) or large apertures must be used with flash to avoid overexposure.

Buy this product. It's really good for the price.
Rather impressive for 30 bucks. Was planning on going with GOBE for the extra money but shipping won me.over on this one. Seems like decent glass. All photos were used on a 35mm I was told not to go any wider. Would reccomend. Juat dont turn past max and you wont get the infamous X.

Would not use in DIRECT light
Using the ND Filter, I was hoping to darken the subject but keep a nice depth. However, with the sunset photo, it creates a green flare (I desaturated it so now its greyish) that gets annoying. I know it can be also my fault because I was not perpendicular, but I am trying to find a way to take sunset photos and not get this glare. The staircase photo, however, came out nice and gave me my desired results.

If you shoot at the wrong time you will get vignetting
As someone who is still learning all the technical aspects of photography I found this filter to be extremely helpful in most of the situations that I used it in. I would recommend against using this filter if you plan to be out shooting anywhere close to high noon because of the slight vignetting you get when you push it towards it's darkest level. The attached photos are examples. The rock was shot after 10:30 am but before 11:30 am and it has some vignetting because I had to set the filter darker. The bridge and tree were shot around 2 pm and I was positioned away from the sun.

Awesome Little Filter
Trying to shoot a long exposure photograph around sunset or sunrise with a standard ND filter can be a challenge. However, with this filter I was able to easily adjust to the changing light condition and keep my shutter speeds where I wanted them to be to ensure that I was able to capture the light trails of the cars in their entirety. The filter did not produce a color cast which is excellent for a filter in this price range. The team at K&F have a winner on their hands with this filter.

A
First, K&F Concept ND2-ND400 lens filter allows changing shutter speed based on the effect you want with the best sensibility and the same aperture. Second, K&F Concept ND2-ND400 lens filter allows creating a blurred background with a large aperture while the shutter speed remains the same. Third, K&F Concept ND2-ND400 lens filter is designed to prevent overexposure and maintain image purity and quality at the same time. *Like a zoom lens, the variable nd filters are suitable for multiple shooting situations. If you're looking for perfect image quality, a fixed ND filter is recommended.
A
K&F Concept ND2-ND400 lens filter controls the amount of the light that enters into camera lens with two sets of polarizing glass of high transparency.

From 1-5 stops, there will be a slight X cross for lens under 24mm. An X cross will appear at the highest stop and can be removed by rotating the filter ring, which is a normal situation instead of a quality issue.

Tested with Nikon Z 7 and Nikor 14-30mm Sline, dark corners are not obvious for 14mm and no dark corners for 16mm.
A
As K&F Concept ND2-ND400 filters adjusts the amount of light that can pass through with polarizing glass, a colour cast can't be avoided for all the variable ND filters on the market. However, K&F Concept variable ND filters are made by the best coating technology, which reduces the effect of the polarizing film on image color. *Based on our professional test, the colour cast of K&F Concept ND2-ND400 filters is around 290k while the industry standard is 500k.
