K&F Concept 3" Suction Cup Camera Mount with Magic Arm

I bought this mount to use my GoPro on the inside of the windshield while driving. this mount definitely allows me to bend the GoPro downward so that it can be angled out of the front of the vehicle, although it does get a bit tight at the extreme angles.

definitely does what I needed to do, and the pump action suction cup is extremely useful. strongly recommend, excellent product.

A Rock Solid Mount!

A well made and great performing suction mount for the action or other cameras. This K&F Concept mount, like the other products I own from them, is made right. They use top quality components to make a great product that lasts, many of my K&F items are years old and suffered lots of abuse yet still work well.

The suction cup works well on most any surface, these are designed to be used on smooth surfaces, but as you can see in the photo, I use mine on a number of different surfaces that are far from smooth and flat. The dashboard in the picture has a textured finish that other suctions cups, even those with adhesive bases, fail to stick too. With this mount, I can dust the dash off, press the mount down slightly and give it 2 or 3 pumps and it grabs extremely well! I can drive down the roughest of off road trails or smooth highways and this mount doesn't care it just stays where I put it. It is even more impressive to me that it holds in the hot Florida sun, where interior temperatures can reach over 150° in no time and other mounts just fall off on their own.

The included magic arm works great, easily holding my camera where I want without even the slightest bit of creep over hours long drives. Again a very well made part, machined from aluminum with super smooth movement of the ball heads and strong clamping force with just a little force applied to the lever. The cell phone holder is actually pretty nice for an included item, even has a cold shoe that is perfect for mounting a small fil light. Overall this mount doesn't disappoint,is super easy to setup and use, is priced right and provides a rock solid base for my videos.

This kit was a fantastic addition to my action camera travel kit!

It comes with multiple 1/4" screw interfaces (see pic). Whether I’m using it with my Osmo Pocket 3, Insta360 X5, or my Samsung S25 Ultra. This kit has me covered. The adjustable arm uses a double ball head design, allowing full 360° rotational adjustment.

I’ve used the 3” suction cup on my vehicle windshield and side glass, hood, wooden tabletops, and various flat surfaces while traveling. The pump action of this mount is great, making mounting extremely easy and fast. Releasing the cup when you’re ready to move is as simple as pinching the two tabs on top of the cup. It’s important to note the “warning line” on the pump. You simply press the pump until the warning line disappears into the housing, and you're good to go. The line makes monitoring the cup easy while in use. If you start to see the line over an extended period of use, simply depress the pump a couple times until the line disappears

This set takes up little space and has a permanent place in my travel kit. I highly recommend it!

Design and Construction Quality
From the moment you take it out of the box, the feeling is of a premium product. The Heart of the System: Vacuum Suction.
What really sets this suction cup apart from other cheaper options is its vacuum pump system. Instead of a simple lever, a button is pressed several times to extract air, creating an incredibly strong vacuum. Once attached to the windshield or a window, it's really hard to move.

An ingenious detail that provides a lot of peace of mind is the safety indicator on the button itself. A white line lets you know if the suction has lost some strength, allowing you to secure it with a couple more pumps. It's a very smart design feature that gives you the confidence that your computer is safe. In addition, they have included a small hole to pass a safety cord, adding an extra layer of protection. Stability and Versatility
The arm with the ball mount is just as sturdy. The tightening lever is large and comfortable, and once you turn it, the ball joint is completely fixed, without any kind of play or slack. This is crucial to avoid vibrations in recordings, especially in a moving car.

Versatility is guaranteed thanks to standard 1/4"−20 threads, both on the base and on the ball joint screw. In addition, very useful accessories are included: a good quality mobile phone clip and the standard mount for action cameras.

My User Experience I
mainly use it to mount an action camera inside my vehicle, either on the windshield or on the side windows. The big benefit compared to other systems I've tried is their flexibility. It is not a permanent frame with adhesives that damage the dashboard or are difficult to remove. I can put it on and take it off in seconds, change its position or even use it in another car. This freedom is, for me, their greatest advantage.

Conclusion
If you're looking for a suction cup mounting system that's compact, incredibly strong, and gives you total confidence, this is a fantastic option. It's the perfect combination of intelligent design, quality materials and versatility. Ideal for action cameras, mobile cameras or even lightweight mirrorless cameras. A totally recommended product.

I've been using a K&F Concept tripod for years, and have been very pleased with it, so when I saw their suction cup mount, a jumped on it. This thing is great. It uses a pump to create a great amount of suction that allows it to hold on to a variety of relatively smooth surfaces. I've actually had this on one of my kitchen cabinets by the stove now to read recipes off of for the past two and a half weeks. And it never slipped, never fell, never needed to be re-pumped. It's not even a perfectly smooth surface. This is a stained wooden cabinet. I'm really impressed!

The core of the mount and arm is metal, and you can tighten it down very firmly. It has a standard 1/4" tripod style screw.

It comes with a phone mount and action camera mount, but you can use any of your own 1/4" mounts or adapt one of your larger threaded mounts with a screw adapter. The included mounting accessories are plastic, compared to the metal core, but are still good quality. I haven't had any issues with it, but in the future, when I use this thing outside of a car or something, I'd probably use one of my existing metal mounts with it instead for the added security.

I expected this to be a good mount given my history with the brand, but it's honestly exceeded my expectations. If you're in the market for something like this, I highly recommend this option. This is a legit brand, and they make some good products.

I hope to do a longer review on this when I can put it thru some better real-world testing. For now... Up front, I was a little skeptical. I've purchased a few of these types of suction mounts in the past and been disapointed. Not so with this one. The mount itself is easy to use and super secure. I've had it secured vertically on a glass surface for 2 weeks now, and it shows no signs of budging. It utilizes a pumping mechanism (the orange knob in the photo is the pump) to create pressure and increase adhesion. Eventually some of the pressure will release (it will depend on the surface you are mounting to, the weight you are putting on it, and other factors), but it works great! There is an indicator (th line around the knob) to help you guage how much to pump before it is secure, and when you see the line appear again (depending on how long you leave it on), you can simply add a few pumps to add more pressure. As securely as it holds, releasing/removing it when done is also still quite easy. Everything about this seems solid and well made.

I'll update this later with a video and more thoughts, but for now... 5 stars.

I'm a big fan of K&F products in general, they always seem to balance affordability with excellent quality. I already have the larger K&F suction cup mount which I am a big fan of, but while it works perfectly fine for large and small cameras, its size can be overkill for small action cameras and it is quite large in some smaller spaces. This 3" version is very similar, with the same excellent build quality and similar features, just in a smaller footprint.

The system starts with a suction-cup mount that has an air pump that creates a vacuum, making the suction hold very strong. If the suction starts to wane a bit, there is an indicator marking on the button to let you know to add more suction. This gives a sense of safety that you can monitor. On the mount there is also a small hole for adding a rope or cord if you want to tie off the mount to something and add another layer of security in case it should break free. Very thoughtful design.

The ball mount arm has a great lever that twists tight and has really no play, no extra movement once it is tight. The base has holes that are standard 1/4"-20 threaded holes which are the most common for accessories, and the ball mount has the same screws for mounting to the base and to your tripod hole on your camera or whatever other accessory you want to add. Included is also a spring-loaded phone mount which works very well, and an action camera mount that is pretty standard.

Great, strong, well-designed mounting system. I use this for mounting an action camera inside my vehicle, to the windshield mostly but also to side windows. The great benefit is, it is not permanently mounted, so it is so easy to remove and mount in a different spot anywhere else at any time. I've used a lot of mounting systems and most of them have been semi-permanent, affixed with tape or to the dash, so being able to have so much flexibility is refreshing.

It is the strongest mount I ever used. It is really sticks on so strong that you can use it as a way to carry glass. The instructions to set it up is easy. The quality and sturdiness is really good. Just know one thing, if your using this for outside of your car. PLEASE, read the manual, it will say what surface it can be attached to and the surface has to been clean and free of dust. Also get a wire strap that will hold the mount and camera just in case it does pop off. The manual does say check the mount every 2 hours for its adsorption status. This 3" suction mount from K&F concepts is perfect for your smartphone, action camera or small mirrorless camera to be mounted to any smooth surface. It's size makes it easy to throw in a bag when you need stability for your smartphone or camera when you're on the go. It mounts quickly, stays put and easily releases when you're done. Great for mounting to a car windshield or side window as it takes up little space and doesn't block any of your field of view.
The included magic arm allows for easy positioning to get your best composition. An additional feature added by K&F is a loop for a safety cord if you want to mount the suction cup on the outside of a vehicle. Nice attention to detail by K&F. Also included is a spring loaded smartphone mount and a GoPro type mount for action cameras. As a camera person, I’ve used a lot of third party accessories for mounting my small action cameras. I’ve especially gone through a bunch of suction cups so that I can mount these cameras to windows and such. They usually hold okay, but eventually lose their grip so they’re terrible for timelapses and long filming.

This suction cup is super strong and will probably replace all my other single suction cup mounts. What’s great about this is the indicator on the button to make sure you have a good suction. It takes a little bit of effort to take off, but that’s what I want in a suction cup mount.

It’s small enough to toss into any camera bag and strong enough to carry small cameras. I definitely trust this mount with any of my cameras.
