Have you ever been curious about gazing at the night sky or far valleys? Here it is: this device does this for quite a small amount of money.What do you get for this 80 dollars?- the telescope itself- the tripod- 2 lenses- handy small 'monocular'- handy bag for carrying- phone mount (which is barely useful for pictures taking because of shaking)The optic quality of the telescope is great overall, the tripod could be better, but I use my Manfrotto tripod which is way superior, but costs as much too :)You need to get used to the night sky navigation because sky objects appear small and the view angle is very narrow, but with a little bit of practice it's doable.It is also great for wildlife observation, I don't hesitate to bring it with me as the weigh is somewhat about 3-5 pounds and takes not that much space.**What could be better?- Automated night sky navigation, however, such devices start with 400+ dollarsAlthough, you barely can use such great telescopes outdoors, and are useless for wildlife observation at all.The bottom line is:This device is a great starting kit that allows understanding if you like the night sky observation or not. I find it quite boring after 2-3 times, but then another feature kicks in - this telescope can be used during the daytime, which is great and not that boring at all!Yes, I would recommend it to a friend, especially with the kids.
