Wonderful for bird watching.
The attachment for the IPhone is functional and takes nice pictures. I enjoy using it when looking at birds.But make no mistake, an actual SLR, digital or film, is still the way to go. The mirrorless systems are also better. Using a stable tripod with a DSLR and a long lens, 500-1000mm with a 2x or 3x addition, renders the iPhone comparison laughable.
