Yes, this is the best alternative to the Go Pro
If you're looking for a Go Pro, but don't want to spend $300, this is the best camera to get. It has the touch screen, the image stabilization, the slow mo, time-lapse - just watch the review videos - I made some myself. The special feature is that you can directly attach this to a tripod as it has the built-in 1/4 inch screw mount. That is incredibly useful to have! No other camera has that feature. I used that feature and the included accessories to just screw the camera onto a baseball cap and you can film what you're looking at without looking like a dork. The only feature I wish it had was the ability to flip the video upside down. If you are mounting the camera upside down on a drone, your videos will come out upside down without this feature. But you can fix it in editing easily enough.
