I bought this action camera to use on a trip to the Maldives, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. I mostly used it while snorkeling with my daughter, but also used it for videos and family pictures. I would not expect much for other uses other than 'action', as that is the intended function of the camera.This camera came with the plenty of accessories, which made life easier during the purchase. There is every mount you will need, as well as a remote trigger to to take pics/vids from a distance, and there is also a waterproof case with an excellent seal. I brought this camera on five snorkeling trips and was able to get some awesome footage and pics underwater. I tried to use it for some vlogging as well, but am yet to edit most of the videos. One complaint I have is that the options for external microphones are slim, as I had to purchase the specific AKASO microphone for this model V50X. The audio doesn't seem to be the best, but still cannot beat the camera quality at this price point. The battery life did seem to drain a bit quickly, but was never a problem as I always had the backup charged and ready.I am overall very satisfied with this purchase, and highly recommend it to anybody who does not want to expend the same amount of money on a GoPro, but wants to utilize it for action pics and vids (especially underwater).
