This camera is smaller than I expected but will be perfect for the 7 year old recipient. It's more like a Go Pro than a clunky toddler camera. The battery came fairly charged (only needed another 20 minutes). The accessories are a great bonus for use at the pool and skate park. I will update star rating once I see the recipient using it "in action."

This camera is about 20% smaller than a gopro 4/5/6/7 standard size, as you see on the photo. The quality is less than a gopro 6/7 but better than that cube shaped tiny gopro (they had terrible name for that one). So it's good for a B-roll cam and situation that you don't want to risk you expensive gopro camera.It comes with 2 batteries. The run time on time lapse and non-stop video is about 70-80 mins, so about same as an gopro. It comes with a underwater case and standard gopro mount accessories, which you can mount on any gopro mount things.It also comes with a wrist ring remote. It has separate photo and video buttons and a power shut off button. This is my favorite. It works right out of the box, just press and record. You don't need to sync the remote. I believe both versions of the gopro remotes need syncing. This is better. I wish all action cameras come with an easy remote like it. I open the back, it takes 2 CR1225 button batteries. So you can replace the remote battery.All other operations are about same as gopro. Electric stabilization for video works, but probably not as good as gp6. Anyway, good enough for camera mount on a bicycle or scooter. Help this review help your decision.

Smaller than i was imagining. Works perfect for my GoPro, but my Canon SLR 1.5lbs is a little heavy at extreme angles. For the price it is worth it.

I’ve used many GoPros in the past, and this is head over heels better than any GoPro I’ve used. The video quality is much better, and the Insta360 app is super simple to use. The combo nature of this camera being an action cam, and a 360 camera really makes this a great deal

This is a great alternative to a GoPro. The image quality is good and will capture all the action you can throw at it. I use it mostly as a second camera angle and B roll. Battery life is good and I haven't had any issues with the camera failing to record or cutting off. The common ext audio connection is still better than GoPro. So if you are wanting a good action camera that uses all the accessories you probably already have and will leave you enough cash to spend on an adventure this one will do the trick.

The V50 Elite is an awesome little camera. The picture quality is clear and the image stabilization works well. The control interface is a little wonky but it is much better than the bravo 4 model. It is not as good as the newer GOPro’s but for the price it is a great action cam. Great for those who want decent 4K quality without the GoPro price tag.

I really like this action camera. It is smaller than I thought, which is a good thing. You cannot beat the price. I am happy with my purchase. I do wish it came with some kind of handle attachment to make it easier to hand hold.

Great product, 100% superior than gopro in specifications and design. Love the fact that the outside case is compatible with gopro accesories.This camera is way better than gopro. And for those being in China, should know China is more than cheap materials, the camera is really a high quality one
