IT's worked great, although it has started beeping as if it's low on batteries even though it's plugged in. It does go through batteries fairly quickly, but I don't use them that often. This is my first child and I really, really wish I had bought the one with two units.

Love that it beeps when hand set is not connected
No problems so far. Love that it beeps when hand set is not connected so i know its working !! Also like that i can plug in or use batteries

Work great for the price.
We bought these to use for our daughter's nursery. There is a bathroom between our room and hers and we use a white noise fan in our room. I was having trouble hearing her when she would wake. We keep both devices plugged in and the first night I had it turned on a medium volume and I could hear when she'd roll over or shift... I turned it to the lowest setting and can still hear her wake up. I highly recommend these. They were great for our purpose and worked well in our home.

Works Great But Does Eat Batteries
As others have stated, this thing chews through batteries pretty fast. The part that goes in the room is always plugged in, but the remote piece can be plugged in or it will take batteries. If you need to roam with the remote piece, it'll last about 8-ish hours before you need to change batteries. This wasn't a big deal for us, as we just needed something in our bedroom to hear when our son wakes up and needs us. If you're just looking for something to leave stationary, then this is perfect. If you need something to roam from room to room, you probably want to choose something else.The sound quality and pickup ranges are great. I have absolutely zero complaints other than the battery drain, which doesn't matter in my situation.
