I've been shooting video for my YouTube channels for over 2 years now. I do a lot of live recording at events and I don't always know before hand what the venue is going to be like so I've found that I need a wide variety of tripods, poles and mounts. I've already got several clamp type mounts but none that open up as wide as these do. These will be perfect for clamping onto a metal fence post or a railing. They open up more widely than my others do. I didn't have a ruler handy when I was taking the photos so I put a dollar bill out to give you an idea how big the size of these is. These are made with a large number of 1/4" threaded holes for screwing camera mounts to. That makes it very flexible when it comes to positioning of the camera. These are very sturdy the way they are made/. I think they will hold up well. The price point on these is on par with others that I have seen which are not as large and sturdy as these so I think they are a good value for the money. The 1/4" threaded holes are the perfect size to match up with industry standard threads. Great for easy positioning of the camera.
