the K&F CONCEPT CNC machined aluminum 3 axis Gear-Head is simply lovely.

TL:DR - it's not just for ... real estate LMAO it's for astrophotography and landscapes, and timelapses,. literally every photo is enhanced with this because it is so easy and EFFECTIVE

let me tell you: this piece of gear is invaluable.

everyone who has owned a tripod is familiar with the regular "ball head" tripod top. they have three axes of rotation and can lock in to the subject, but when anyone tries to take, for instance a photo or video of the moon, whenever you secure the traditional ball head, it ALWAYS shifts when you lock it in to place

a geared tripod head, there is NO more shifts, EVER!

the KF31.047 (this item) solves all of that. zero drift. everything is aluminum alloy. it has FAST-SHIFTS for fast framing photo composition, and when you really need to dial it in, the precision is *literally* out of this world.

i appreciate the fast-shifts, and the freedom to do 90 degrees QUICKLY without re-doing the entire tripod setup. everything is fast-adjustable in the geared head, with an immediate millimeter precision. the workflow is natural, effective, and smooth which saves time when i'm standing out there in the cold and the bugs trying to take moon and stars photos

it has two bubble levels to ensure that you are leveled, and each of the three axes has a clearly visible LARGE angles read-out.

i look at youtube, as i do for all my research, and all of those videos and reviews consisted of real-estate filming and photo composition

that's fine. but i don't do any of that! i do cellphone Astrophotography! i often think to myself "do i need to buy a thousand dollar telescope?" the answer is definitely no! especially not with this. Moon photos, Moon videos, sunrise photos and videos are just really great.

i included two photos in the review. one is a perfectly aligned picture of the morning sunrise with high clouds aligned with the camera and the reflection of the roadway. this would be completely IMPOSSIBLE with a traditional ball-head tripod top, or without some cropping and editing. this is an unedited photo
