Compact and Sturdy
I love this tripod! My ancient tripod needed replacing, and I was so happy to get this one. I'm not a professional photographer, but I need a reliable tripod for taking family group photos, capturing pictures of the hummingbirds that visit my feeder, and occasionally photographing the night sky.
This tripod is compact, folding down to 19 inches for storage, and only weighing 2.6 pounds. Its maximum height is 64", which is more than I need. The ball head is easily adjustable and stays put. The tripod is simple to open up for use and fold for storage. It includes a smartphone attachment and a storage bag.
This tripod holds up to 22 pounds, which is way more than I need. It holds my mirrorless camera and 100-400mm lens and feels surprisingly sturdy. You could easily pay twice this much for a similar tripod, so it's a great value, and I recommend it.
