Reviews
Excellent service and 5 stars for quality as well.
The customer service deserves special mention. Problems or defects can always arise, but the key is how a company handles them. I wrote a review of the aforementioned tripod, drawing on my experience as a professional, and highlighted some shortcomings. Customer service then contacted me and offered a generous solution.
As a consumer, it's reassuring to know that after a purchase, if there are legitimate problems, the company is willing to find satisfactory solutions.
I now own a tripod from the K&F Mutate Series M1 with the BH-36L ball head. The workmanship and quality are truly excellent, and I want to explicitly counter some of the reviews that criticize the ball head's handling. I have an analog Leica R5 with a motor drive and a 90mm lens attached to the quick-release plate. The head is very easy to adjust and can be securely mounted in any situation. Fine adjustments are achieved with simple operation. The head can be rotated 360°, and a pleasant damping mechanism facilitates the movement. As long as the ball head is securely attached to the tripod legs, it can be described as stable. This makes it perfectly suitable for the demands placed on a tripod – short shutter speeds, macro photography, telephoto lenses, etc. However, once the center column is extended, the tripod no longer quite meets these requirements as well. The center column is too thin, causing the camera to vibrate slightly upon contact. With a steady hand, however, this can be easily compensated for. Considering its other qualities, this tripod from this series is highly recommended for use as a travel or outdoor tripod. I will certainly purchase more products from K&F.
