It's just really nice to know that the main camera lenses are protected and I can EASILY swap out the guards in a few seconds, if I ever need to.As with any and every lens or lens cover, frequent cleaning is the best way to keep your images/videos looking their best. I carry a lens cloth and wipe them down frequently. When not in use, I just place the x5 in the soft case, with the guards installed.
