Game-changer for solo travel vlogging
I travel solo a lot and got tired of asking strangers to take my photos or doing the awkward "prop my phone against a water bottle" thing. This tripod has been a lifesaver for my DJI Osmo Action 6. The magnetic attachment is seriously strong—I was skeptical at first, but it's never once fallen off, even when I'm hiking on rough terrain. The height adjustment is clutch. I can use it collapsed as a grip for walking shots, extend it partway for chest-level footage, or go full height for overhead angles. The 5-section legs mean I can get really low to the ground for creative angles or raise it up high for crowd shots. And that ball head? It rotates in every direction you can imagine, which makes switching between landscape and portrait mode super quick. What I didn't expect to use as much is that 1/4" thread on the ball head. I've mounted my wireless mic on there, and it's made such a difference in my audio quality without needing a separate rig. The whole thing folds down to barely bigger than a water bottle and weighs next to nothing, so it's always in my day pack.Just FYI—this won't work with the older Action cameras (3, 4, or 5 Pro), which I learned the hard way when I tried to lend it to my friend. But if you've got the Osmo Nano or Action 6, this is absolutely worth it. The stability is rock-solid even when fully extended, and I've gotten shots I never could've managed handheld.
