This is a good, all but professional grade tripod. Please don't take that as a slam on this tripod. When I state "all but" what I really mean is that I'm pretty sure many professionals would have no problem using this.

The "fluid head" that comes with this is very nice when it comes to smoothly rotating your camera. The description states this as the "...fluid head supports 360° horizontal pan and -70°/+90° vertical tilt, enabling diverse shooting angles and providing video creators with stable footage. Also includes detachable handle for a different dominant hand...". This head also sports a quick release/quick install feature that is described in the description as a "...Fast and safe camera installation and disassembly in one second, improve work efficiency, suitable for rapid changes in shooting scenes...". I also like that it comes with both a 1/4-20 and a 3/8-16 screw on the quick release.

The description also states that this is made up primarily from aluminum, or specifically a sturdy aluminum alloy. I don't have a way of checking this claim, but I can say that it feels robust and sturdy so it should last a good while. Finally, this tripod extends from a respectable ~34 1/2" to an impressive 79 1/2" maximum height. It folds down to 36 1/4" including the head for easy storage in the included bag.

When this first arrived I did my typical initial inspection of the item and didn't find any leftover manufacturing process substances such as oils, sharp edges, blemishes or other defects that would render this unfunctional or unsafe. At this price point (~$110), I believe this to be a good value. A quick search shows similar items costing between ~$100-175. Would I order this again? Yes, I believe I would.
