Nice glass but gets stuck, very hard to spin

The images I took were nice, the glass is pretty clear for the money. The filter is very difficult to turn, like they used extra heavy grease in the bearings; every once in a while it lets loose and will spin ~5 degrees with no resistance. It has gotten stuck in both my new Tamron 18-300 and the Tiffen filter I bought for it. Broke a filter wrenches getting it removed from each. The threads machining in the threads is rough, that combined with the molasses-in-a-Vermont winter they used to lube the CPL guarantees it will be very difficult to remove. I’m guessing I got one from the end of the thread cutter head’s life on a Friday afternoon or Monday morning. YMMV
