Big UV Filter Brands Watch Out
I'm notoriously hard on my gear and have experimented with protective filters. Some cheap ones severely impact the image quality of my images, but given how hard I am on my gear, I've had to learn to embrace UV filters to protect my lenses from mud and the occasional faceplant. These K&F filters are champs and have performed delightfully without noticeably impacting my image quality (I shoot action-oriented sports, so I can only pixel peep so hard). One even sacrificed itself when I fell face-first onto ice and gravel, leaving my front elements completely unscathed. If you need a filter to protect your gear and can't afford to buy the more expensive glass all the time, consider these filters. Unlike other brands, they definitely punch above their price point, and the stash of extra vacuum-sealed microfiber cloths I've accumulated means I'm never too far away from a fresh and sealed lens cloth.
