I am using the K & F Concept RGB Video Light for photography and recording video. What I especially like are the easy-to-use controls that include a dial for turning the camera on selecting one of three modes (aka “gear”); a small LCD that shows the camera “gear”; and a second dial to adjust the selected option for the chosen gear. Some other small lights I’ve worked with have had controls that could be a bit finicky or tricky to work with, but these controls are straightforward and work great.

This is a compact light and is oriented towards illuminating subjects that are close to the camera. In the CCT “gear”, the brightness and color temperature of the LCDs can be adjusted, and the brightness works well for illuminating subjects. The HIS “gear” is used to select a range of light colors, with the brightness also adjustable. The EFF gear allows one of 21 special effects to be selected, with different adjustments possible for the effects.

The camera also includes a pair of magnets that can be used to mount the camera, although no magnetic base is included; a 1/4-inch threaded mount on the top and on the bottom of the case; a hot shoe mount with ¼-inch screw; a USB-C charging port; and USB-A to USB-C charging cable.
This is a nice, well-made, small light at a great price. It is an easy-to-use light for video or photography at close distances, while also providing specialized lighting effects for video if needed.
