Smooth Camera Balance with PH-10 Gimbal
Using the PH-10 gimbal with the Sony a7iii and Sony 200-600 lens, I achieved a nearly perfect balance thanks to the Sony GPX1EM Grip Extension. At the extreme angles, there was a slight tendency to continue in that direction, as the lens mount was slightly too tall, causing the vertical center of mass to be a few millimeters too high. This was easily solved with a little tension on the gimbal's upper knob. Replacing the lens foot with a shorter one could also solve this, if Sony made their feet arca-swiss compatible.
