Professional tripod at an amateur cost
After purchasing our first kf concept tripod we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials, the solidity and the value for money. So we decided to renew the tripods in our studio. As soon as we bought it we put it to the test with two sets of studios and it proved to be as good as we expected!
In the box we find our tripod , carrying bag , always useful in case of travel where you need to bring a studio tripod , and ... .
The tripod is very compact, when closed it measures only 40cm, which makes it ideal to be transported on photographic trips and long journeys, its lightness makes it easy to carry and to put in a luggage in case of air travel. Fully extended it reaches a height of 154 cm and thanks to its 5 sections it can be adjusted with good precision. The 5 section extenders are screw fasteners, we usually tend to prefer the hook fasteners but these have proved to be very practical, just take them all together with one hand and in one movement they can all be unscrewed, great for those who need to extend the tripod quickly. As in many tripods you have the possibility to unhook one of the legs and make it become a monopod, very quick on this tripod but the fixing system is really good and the grip on the unscrewing pod makes it very comfortable to use.
Let's move on to the ball head, which allows excellent flexibility in shooting, reaching any desired angle and being able to rotate 360°. The base of the head in turn has the possibility of having a fluid 360° rotation, useful both for panoramas and for videos, where the graduated scale at its base becomes very convenient. The release plate is good, even if it is made of plastic. But we come to the real highlight of this tripod, the transverse column, is in fact the main reason why we bought this tripod, the ability to move from the area where the feet of the tripod would be in the view and shoot perpendicularly downwards. Good extension, allows you to work easily with vertical shots on many surfaces, tables, floors, as well as to shoot from elevated ledges without risking the equipment or having to lean out personally, also great when you shoot by reversing the tripod in order to reach perspectives otherwise impossible.

Lightness
Compactness
COUNTER Nothing major, the lightness means it's counterbalanced if you're outdoors or shooting with heavy equipment but that's even with high end and much more expensive tripods
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND
This tripod at a very affordable price point is definitely one of the best if not the best on the market, complete with every feature a tripod should have in 2019 it offers everything at a hyper competitive price, the quality is great and the tripod passed our tests with flying colours, obviously all in relation to the price. Excellent alternative to much more expensive tripods, recommended for amateur and professional photographers but also for those who want a tripod that can be used to make videos on youtube, even for unboxing and overhead shots!

Game changer for lonely single men
So I have to say these things are super easy to set up and do exactly what they are meant to do. Im recently divorced and miss coming home to cooked meals and being able to take out my work frustrations on her for the first hour I get home. I have used all four of these and it's changed my life so much I'm now off anti-depressants (although I feel I'm just tricking my sensory memories to be temporarily happy). I have one set up to an old crock pot, before I leave for the steal mill in the morning I throw a bag of frozen chicken, broth and veggies with seasoning. It's set to turn on around 2 so I walk into a house smelling of fresh dinner. The true key is to combined these outlets with Alexa, which I've named Agatha after my ex wife. So half way through dinner I say, Agatha, vacuum the living room. Which I have a vacuum set up to the second smart plug in there, the sound of the vacuum cleaning running and just thinking about her taking my order without back mouthing me is soothing to me. The last two are set up in the bedroom, one is set to my ex wife's old plug in toy(swear that thing acted like it ran on race fuel) that I have schedule to go off for 20 Mins once my bedroom Alexa hears me snoring. The last one turns on a desk light where she use to do her make up in the morning and it never looked good and would wake me up an hour before I needed to wake up, every week day, for 23 years.... Love this product! Will buy more, need to find out a way to run my credit card up around holidays without me knowing.

One month traveling with Osmo Pocket
Disclaimer. I'm totally new to gimbal camera of any sort. My current camera is a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 with OIS and 4K@30 and I was considering getting a gimbal for that when I caught the announcement for the Osmo Pocket. I got the OP just in time for my trip on Dec 13th (found a in state dealer willing to ship me one overnight the day the Mimo app came out) and I just returned home after spending almost a month in Asia.I watch a bunch of reviews on Youtube but a lot of them was from the POV of a Vlogger. My perspective for this review is more from a casual traveler's POV.The biggest advantage of the OP compared to a traditional digital camera is the size/weight, aperture and boot time.Lets talk about size/weight. It's smaller and half the weight of a compact DC. I carry it in my jacket's pocket and I don't even feel it was there most of the time. The small size/weight also means that you can shoot in crowded area just by holding it up above your head. Like the time that I walk into a subway station only to find a bunch of kids performing Xmas carols. There are already a gathered crowd but I was ablo to just hold the OP above my head and shoot pass all the people in front of me. good luck doing that with a mid size DC. The small size also means that most people don't even know that you're shooting (was able to use it in a few places that does not allow camera without being notice). It also avoid a lot of stares that you see in a lot of vids while using a gimbal setup. The only drawback is the lack of a zoom (even digital would be nice). The few times that I want a closer view, I just use my phone, set it to 2x and shot the vids. At the end of the day, although I brought my FZ1000 on the trip. it ended up just staying in the hotel rooms for the whole trip. Now onto the F2.0 aperture. This gives you so much better low light performance than most DC short of a full size DSLR and even most action cams. This came in really handy on my trip as we try to get to as many places as possible and the sun start setting at 4PM in some area. I was able to shoot quite a bit of vids in fairly dim light like those inside museums/temples/castles and the results are quite good. Even nighttime outdoor vids with just ambient lights are quite acceptable (yes, there are video noise but it wasm't bad enough to distract you from watching the vids in most cases). Overall, noise level is much lower than my FZ1000 at F2.8.However, there is a drawback to the large aperture. We're blessed with really nice weather most of the trip which means bright sunlight during the day. This can be a problem even at the highest shutter speed in some situations (not even considering trying to lower the shutter speed to get the proper motion blur on videos). I was lucky to receive the the PgyTech 4 ND/PL filters set just in time for the 2nd part of my trip where a lot of shots are outdoor bright daylight when there were times that the color was just on the edge of washing out due to the bright sunlight and I was able to snap on a ND Filter and get it back under control. If you do a lot of outdoor daylight shots, I would say a ND filter set is a must. Finally, let's talk about the boot time. To me, this is probably the feature that impressed me the most. I can have the unit out of my pocket and ready to shoot in about 15 seconds. If I'm in an aera where I expect to take video and have the case around my wrist. I can be ready to shoot in 10. With the fast bootup, I was able to catch a skilled couple dancing at the new Dance Dance Revolution machine in a Tokyo, a New Year parade on the street of Osaka, Shinkansen arriving at the station and a motorcycle gang riding through the main intersection at Shibuya. Shots that I would probably have missed at least some part if I'm using a traditional camera unless it's already powered on in my hand.Basically, I'm really happy with the OP. It's a perfect travel camera with great festures. It's not perfect, it can focus on the wrong thing at times (which can happen to the best non fixed focus camera). The exposure can be a bit sensitive in some lighting condition and with a lot of lights being LED nowadays, you will sometimes get a plusing effect that would make it through the anti-flicker and those thing are hard to detect on the small screen and you won't notice till you watch it on a larger screen later. I would recommend hooking the OP up to your phone for important shots.I have a few vids from my travel available online. Search for "Wiz33" on Youtube since I can't post a link in the review

highly recommend this baby monitor
I was so excited to do a collaboration with Lollipop. The colors is essentially what caught my eye. I love how easy it is to move around. Sometimes I may want the baby to sleep in his crib or maybe his play pen and it's so easy to switch it over. Such an easy set up and It took me like 2.5 seconds to hook the camera up to my phone. The only downfall is, I wanted an actually monitor screen other than the app on my phone. I love the talk/talk back feature. overall, I was very well pleased with the baby monitor and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Router Security Setting Tip to Save Hours on Setup
I purchased this set, took it home, followed the instructions, but couldn't get the base station to connect to the internet. Hmm, odd, since I had multiple laptops, iPhones, Tablets, Roku, etc. all connected just fine. So, I confirmed everything was active, tested my internet connection, reset the base station to factory defaults and tried again. Still only the base station power light would go green, the internet light stayed orange. Hmm, so much for a 10 minute install. I checked the settings on my router, the base station was obtaining an IP address just fine, but it still would not connect to the internet. So, I tried Arlo's support via chat, and got Ailyn. Great support. I spent about 2 hours on chat with Ailyn, checking my router settings, changing settings, reserving IP for Arlo, setting up ports 80 and 443 and assigning to Arlo IP, rebooting modem, router, base station, and many other tweaks and tries, but after all this time, still not able to get connected to the internet. This was on a Sunday evening, so I was wondering if maybe Arlo servers were down for maintenance, but told they were up and active. I greatly appreciate Ailyn for hanging in there all that time trying to help me, so support is there and certainly gives it their best. Unfortunately, my case had to be escalated, and someone was to call me back within 24 hours. Too bad, since I had everything unpacked ready to setup tonight, not sometime tomorrow. So, I considered just repackaging and returning the product. But after I got off of chat, I wanted to try one more thing. I had my router set to the highest security setting, so I decided to drop the setting from Highest, to Medium( typical), and give it all another attempt before repacking and returning. Magically, that was the problem all along, my security settings were set to High, which prevented the base station from using the needed ports for communicating. Once the router security was set to Medium, it only took 10 minutes as they advertise to setup base station, connect camera, and have everything up and running. Quite simple. The app is simple, not a ton of features, but the basics to provide view of alert video, also you can remote view the camera at any time if you want to just check in, 1GB storage is provided Free, so you have basic Cloud storage to manage your alert videos, and you can download recorded videos to your iPhone to store in iCloud, if desired. So overall, not bad at all, especially with the flexibility to move the cameras and place anywhere. This is a new install, so I'll see how reliable the Arlo servers are, since recording depends on their service.Be warned, if you have Highest security setting on your router, you may have issues getting setup, and Arlo support didn't suggest reviewing that? A simple change could save you hours and a lot of frustration.About the system, it is exactly what I needed to provide motion video alerts to view with my iPhone of my front door area and driveway, without drilling holes thru my house, and running wires all over the place, etc. Setting camera couldn't be easier, one screw, attach the holder, and the camera attaches magnetically. Very cool. The construction of the camera seems very nice and can be inside or outside, the quality of the video is quite good and clear, but not super high resolution, but good for purpose. I have a light that is always on in this area, so the camera always has good illumination helping with picture quality at night. The IR range is a bit weak, but again, for my purpose, 15 ft works fine, but it would be nice to have the option of turning on greater night view range, maybe have a normal setting standard at 15 ft, but allow to turn on an extended IR view temporarily, as needed. But, again fit for purpose. Since the camera is battery operated, it is understandable you don't want excessive IR lighting which would just drain the battery rapidly. Batteries, we'll see, this takes 4 - CR123 batteries and I'll report back on my usage.Alerts take a little adjusting, but very simple with the app to set the sensitivity %. However, the motion detection range is a bit limited. Not a problem for my purpose at the front door and garage area, but would be nice to have better motion detection options, using zones like other cameras use. But again, it looks like Netgear designed to be "simple", simple to setup, no wires, simple app, basic features, and even allows up to 5 cameras to be used. I notice that the videos have a delay after motion is detected to start recording, so you may miss a few seconds in the beginning, which is okay for my purpose, but I would prefer more instant video recording to capture as much as possible. So, even though I wasted hours trying to get Arlo setup, I didn't want to give up, so after the proper router setting was changed, it literally only took 10 minutes to setup. Hopefully, others will benefit from this review, and avoid repackaging and returning unnecessarily. It really should only take 10 minutes to setup. I'm happy with my purchase... Good Luck!

Wow.... Just.... Wow! These lights are GREAT!
The media could not be loaded.

My step daughter has decided to enter the e-commerce business. She wants to start marketing ladies lingerie, nighties, PJ's and such. She is lining up some models and I'm helping her set up her studio for pictures and videos. I saw this set of studio lights and figured, why not? I am so glad that I did. I don't think I could have gotten a better deal. These lights are as professional as they get. I am super impressed with the lights themselves. They have great physical controls, where you can adjust the hue from sunset to bright white and the intensity from soft and warm to blinding bright. There is a white diffuser panel that can be removed with ease, to increase the intensity even more. With the digital readout, you can adjust the lights precisely and consistently. the stands can elevate the lights to a full EIGHT FEET. The visors are large enough that you can focus the light nearly any way you want. The whole set comes very well packaged and with a very nice carrying case. Each lamp and each stand has it's own inner protective velvet drawstring bag. The carrying case is compartmentalized to protect the contents. The phone app for the controls work very well with Android phones. It lets you be in front of the lights and seeing the hue and brightness, while you're adjusting them. The lights have receptacles on the back for proprietary Lithium batteries (not included). They use a Sony NP-F990 type, with plenty of aftermarket types available. So, if you planned on doing some outdoor shots, you wouldn't have to worry about power. I am very impressed with the quality of these photography / videography studio lights. I highly recommend them. Five stars.

How you can learn if a Seagate hard drive comes wi
1. Google this: How to Check Warranty Status of Seagate Hard drive Online in USA. When you get to that Seagate website enter the model number and the serial number of the job. you either get back something like the warranty of the drive is through mm/dd/yyyy or you will be told to check with the place you bought it.What's going on.2. When Seagate sells a drive to an OEM, Original Equipment Maker, like HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc. they sell the drive and that's it. It is then up to the OEM to provide a warranty to the buyer of the drive or the buyer of the product containing the drive. Sometimes you will even see a logo of the OEM on the drive or even the OEM part number. But one thing is sure, Seagate is not responsible for and will not provide warranty service on that drive. The OEM may or may not provide warranty service. If they do they will probably want an invoice showing that it was purchased from them. These are called gray market drives and when an OEM stops making the computers that use them, they may offer them at steep discounts to anyone who will buy them. But they do the same thing that Seagate did to them: they will no longer provide warranty service on the drive and they pass that decision to the buyer of those drive. Other manufacturers do the same thing.3. Seagate also sells direct to resellers large and small. In that case the drive will come with Seagate's warranty. The big box stores, the major computer stores which usually sell Seagate drives in retail packaging which will come with Seagate's warranty. But when you start buying hard drives that just come wrapped in a static bag, you should ask if it comes with the Seagate factory warranty and if you can get the sn in advance of purchase if that factory warranty is important to you. If the store can't give you the sn but will take a drive back if it doesn't have the factory warranty, then when you get it you check it as described above and then decide what you want to do.-sfoAlan

Great buy! So many features!
I bought this camera and had very few expectations but it is an amazing product for the price! I even bought a 2nd. Excellent day time and great night vision quality! plus ai motion detect! Aaaand 2 way mic and many more features! I highly recommend plus a helpful simple to use app. The battery life is pretty darn good, but the more notifications settings you add will cause decrease in battery life. Just get your self a long micro USB cord and run it like I did in my high traffic zone and you're set! Super easy to set up as well

It's good but could be better
Initial Chime setup to connect to my network was very easy.I did spend a lot of time moving it around my home before I finally found the best location. It was a difficult and tedious process because it takes a few minutes for the iPhone app to update to get a new reading of the connection strength for the connected devices. To speed this up, I would bounce the app which force it to update its signal readout. The night light and the status light is not needed so I was glad that I could disable both of these so I don't have a bright light where I don't want one.One feature that I was very surprised did NOT exist was the ability to set the chime tone to a specific device. I got an introduction email from Ring with a list of key features. That email listed this as a key feature with a link to "Learn More". However when I clicked that link, the instructions were how to set a different chime sound for the chime device - not how to set a different chime for an individual linked device like a camera. Probably a good idea for the marketing team to learn the features on the product instead of assuming... :)So without that feature, the motion chime is the same for all devices so you don't know where the motion is detected. That would be a big help. After a few hours of positioning and testing, I found a good spot and this product does help a lot. Now, when I click the "Go Live" button in the app, the camera is activated in a few seconds. Before I installed the Ring Chime, sometimes a camera would activate live after several seconds (which is too late) or not activate at all. So that was a plus.Another upside is the chime sounds are really nice and I selected a new sound for the front door bell which is beautiful. My wife loved that.Overall it's a lot of trial and error for location setup and the app has so many features that can be accessed in many places in the app, getting the right settings takes a long time. They really need to simplify the app's interface too.
