It was almost awesome.
The camera quality is great! However, the battery life is not. Installed this for my short-term rental and opted to charge it fully, install the solar panel and hope that it’d last the approx 90 days at a full charge listed on the instructions, knowing that I’d be back in a few months and could charge it again then if needed. Even with the solar panel, the battery is at 13% after 8 days, and I won’t be able to return to charge it until September! So I will not be able to monitor my property for a few months after it dies. Bummer.Also, every once in a while, the camera does not pick up motion. Had a cleaning team in and out a number of times on one particular day and it did not record any of their comings or goings.
