These work, but need to be close to WIFI
I bought two of these and installed them. They weren't close enough to my router so I moved the router to within 12 feet of where they are mounted. If you want them located away from your router... good luck. I tried one router booster and it didn't work, so I moved them both to the front of the house next to the router. The good: Without paying anything, you can track the history of what happens when the camera captures an event. You can then record that event to the SD card, which is cool. The night vision is very good. The bad: When using your phone to access the camera, it almost always says the signal is poor and you have to reboot... almost always. My router is as close to these as I can get them, but even at 91% signal it tells you the signal is poor.Summary: It's worth the money. I want to capture what happens at my house and this works without paying an extra fee. The SD card feature is awesome, even though you have to remove it to get the data. I don't really care. If an event happens where someone is on the camera I want to keep, I'll take it down and remove the camera to get the data. I'm cheap and don't even want to pay $5 a month for some "extra" services.Really a 3.5 stars because of the WIFI issue, but 4 stars because I can use it without paying an extra fee.
