Best wireless earbuds I've owned
I've had these since January, and am still very happy with them. It just occurred to me to write a review, as I am using them right now. I think these are great wireless earbuds for the price. They're not going to beat a $100+ pair of audiophile earbuds in terms of sound, but for casual listening, they're great. They have bass, but aren't ridiculously over-bass-boosted (at least to my ears).I've used other cheap brands of wireless buds in the past, and constantly had issues with one bud not connecting, one bud or the other randomly losing connection if the phone was in my pocket or I turned my head, low battery life, and irritating background buzzing. These do not have those issues. I can honestly say that these are the most easy-to-use bluetooth earbuds I have ever used. You pair them once, and they're good. They reconnect automatically when you remove them from their magnetic charging case (as long as your bluetooth is on) and disconnect when you place them back in. There is the usual slightly irritating "Your Headset Is Connected" female voice when they connect, but it's not as ear-shatteringly loud as the voice on some cheaper sets I have used. The buds themselves are large (about the same size as most bluetooth earbuds; see image -- I have small hands) but extremely light, so they are not uncomfortable. With the right ear tip, you can get pretty good passive sound blockage. Several sizes are included, and the silicone-ish material of the tips feels pretty good.I love the battery display on the case that shows both the battery percentage of the case and the individual charge levels of each bud. Every pair of bluetooth earbuds should have this. Clicking the earbuds into their magnetic holders in the case is easy and extremely satisfying, and the case itself closes securely with another magnet. The exterior plastic of the case feels a little brittle and cheap, but it hasn't cracked on me yet, so it's not a huge problem for me.The range is surprisingly high. I can leave my phone and walk around my apartment, and the sound only starts cutting out if I'm all the way on the opposite end of the apartment from my phone, outside, or on a different floor. The battery life is good. I've listened with these up to 5 or 6 hours at a time without having to recharge them. Because it is so easy to place them back into their case, it is easy to keep them topped off. The case itself needs to be charged maybe once a week depending on how often I am using them, and takes a couple hours to charge. My one gripe is the touch controls. I wish they had a couple of buttons for the functions other than play/pause, because I never remember how to activate the other functions and will occasionally accidentally rewind/skip/change volume while trying to start/stop. The touch surface plastic is also shiny and easily collects visible scratches and fingerprints through normal wear, but this is a minor cosmetic issue and does not affect the responsiveness of the touch button.Overall, I am pleased and would recommend these to anyone looking for budget(ish) bluetooth earbuds.Pros: no issues with pairing, long battery life, very nice battery display on case, can charge case while charging buds, water resistant, comfortable to wear, several tip sizes, sound quality is decent, very little bluetooth background buzzCons: case exterior plastic feels slightly cheap, touch controls are not very intuitive other than play/pause, shiny finish shows scratches and fingerprints, sound quality isn't groundbreaking
