Criminal how they screw you when it stops working under warranty
Bought one of these when they were $23,00....it ceased to function 6 months later so contacted the company about a warranty replcement. Lots of round and round with Customer Service and finally I get an RMA to return it for a replacement ...but first they want $15. A BRAND NEW CAMERA IS $23.00. This isn't a warranty, it's a rip off. This is my second attempt at buying Amcrest cameras and every time I've gotten taken. I like them because they are like Foscam (China) cameras of which I have several, but they just are not as well made and die for no apparent reason. I had planned to buy several, but not now. This is ridiculous...$15 to replace a $23 camera? Then I see they've tripled the price so you are buying this poorly made piece of junk for 3x as much....(maybe you won't feel so bad getting ripped off for the additional $15 when it dies a few months later if you over pay now). DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY....these cameras are cheaply made and junk. Should have never given them a 2nd chance!!!!
