Works great, but be sure to get into settings and disable your laptop's integral one.
Had a few glitches with this---I don't blame the device but my computer and Windows. Just disable your integral one and this will be recognized w/o hassles. The light works very well but is almost too bright---but would be great for very dark situations. The auto exposure on the camera easily compensates for backlit situations. Very clear video and sound.
