Helped get rid of yellow hue
I am amateur so I cannot go into detail but bases on the pics I took with and without the lens, I noticed there was less yellowish hue to the picture. Not by a lot but for the price and what I was trying to achieve it was just fine.
Also it saved my lens, unfortunately my tripod tipped and the lens filter broke, but it spared the lens from damage - saved me a couple of hundred dollars.

I was setting up my camera to test the filter on my Rokinon 12mm f2 NCS lens by taking some star trail photos, when I noticed a noctilucent cloud (NLC) to the northwest, about 2 hrs after sunset. The cloud image is edited to show the subtle details in the cloud. I live in Vancouver, Washington, which is a few miles north of Portland, Oregon, so I'm surrounded by city lights. The filter did a fantastic job filtering out the stray light in the sky for both images.

Good value for what appears to be a very high quality light pollution filter
Construction is very good with rubberized edge ridges for easy installation and removal, especially important for a filter that will only be used for night sky photography. Light transmission is good with no apparent chromatic aberration from edge to edge. The filter doesn't easily attract dust and cleans well with a quality microfiber cloth. While I've only taken a few night test shots, the filter appears to be very effective, especially for sodium vapor light pollution. One more item of note - the filter case is the best I've ever received with a filter of any price!
