2. Phase Shift: Large objects made of good conductors (gold, silver, copper...) will generate very large currents, if the detector could not handle them, it will react slowly（that means. Large distance between target position and detection position）or the detector does not respond at all.
3.Functionality of detectors: The transmitter coil of the detector is traversed by an alternating current, which causes a ground-penetrating and electromagnetic alternating field. Any metal object in this field will be energized, creating its own circular electric currents and transmitting its own magnetic field. When the receiving coil detects it, the processor calculates information about the corresponding item and emits a signal alerting the operator.
4.Swing: When the hidden metal "cut" the magnetic field, it creates electric current. Make it short: you need to keep swinging the coil from left to right so that the detector could find the metals.
5.No Tools are required to assemble the detector.

Perfect for beginners
We lost a wedding ring in the backyard and bought this to find if. Within 10 minutes we found it. It’s light weight so easy for kids(11 year old) to use. We also purchased a pin-pointer which helped narrow down where the ring was.

Best gift ever.
My dather bought me this Ulhund metal detector for Father's day. I love it. It works very well. We got a house in the county so I have been finding coins, jewelry, and many different things. Most items were about 6 to 7 inches deep.

You need this in your life!
Professional metal detector. That being said, it has greatly simplfied my life, and i will use it until im able to afford one of the high dollar ones. I would recommend this pinpointer to anyone. Well worth the money. Also, got here exactly when it was supposed to.

Works great!
It is fairly light weight, my 8 year old can do it for a few minutes until his arm gets tired. I, being a small woman, did it for over an hour. My arm is slightly sore. Works great when set to a level 2 or 3 sensitivity. I tend to ignore the 97-99. We have found lots of scrap metal, bottle caps, and an old dime. We also keep all the search areas on, we still think finding bottle caps are exciting. A great way to get the kids out of the house. I would definitely recommend this detector. Easy to use!
