I tried using it to magnify coins from my coin collection. It would not display the entire coin, if the coin was larger, approximately than the U.S. Nickle. What it displays, though, is very sharp. Unless the magnifier is placed directly against the item being magnified, the magnification is limited to 50X. If you place the object being magnified, directly against the magnifier, you can magnify the object up to 1000X, which is pretty awesome. I will not use this magnifier much, but it will be handy to have if I need it.

Nothing to dislike. It’s a really cool gadget for just messing around with. No squinting through a tiny eyepiece. Plus video of stuff. Well worth the $

DEVICE WONT CONNECT ERROR: I loved the product but have a newer Samsung 10 and it wouldn't connect via wifi.I had this similar issues and it resolved this product too. Simply turn off your network and put your phone in airplane mode.Now connect via wifi. After I did this once it connected fine everytime after. Goodluck. Good product but poor instructions and their you tube video is just as bad.

I have really enjoyed this little camera and continue to be impressed with the quality that you can achieve. That being said, it's not a true microscope, so don't expect one. It is a powerful little micro camera that can really have some fun with though. It has a manual focus which gives a lot of control over that very shallow depth of field, but can just take some getting used to. It connected to my phone easily, so that was great too. It does feel a bit cheap, and do not try to zoom in on the photos it takes, because the resolution is not there. However, it has been my dream for a while to be able to take cool macro photos and this TOTALLY gets me there. In that sense, this was money WELL SPENT

Almost as if you need two ppl or your stand just to use it got to be very still and it’s hard to adjust without losing your spot
