Much easier to use than a jeweler's loupe to check trichomes. The microscope puts off it's own wi-fi signal when you turn it on. Download the app. Turn the microscope on, then search for the microscope in your wi-fi settings, connect, open the free app, bam! Simple, quick, easy. It relays through your phone pretty quickly. If you're looking to buy this for the same reason I bought this, you'll be happy. Trust;)

Works pretty good so far. Connects to my phone easy enough. Surprisingly nice image quality. I'm getting older and between the back and eyes, I just didn't want to use a jewelers loupe to check on trichomes anymore. This works as a great replacement. It's fun to play around with and see tiny details of all kinds of things around the house. I don't feel it's 1000x by any means but it's great for my needs.

I’ve been enjoying playing around with this little scope and my rock collection. It’s a little tricky to get a crisp focus, and I wish the photo resolution was higher, but overall it’s a great buy as long as you aren’t expecting anything professional-grade. It’s also super great for kids— my niece had so much fun looking at different things under the scope, and the ability to record video is a bonus.

My kids love this. We connect it to an old phone that they carry it around as they look at anything and everything. They have learned a surprising amount with all the questions they ask Google home as they observe new things.
