Got this to magnify and take pics of super tiny markings on jewelry. We set it up on my phone and it does magnify well, but with the LED light turned up and extra lighting it still comes out dark. A bit hard to get where you want it and get it focused as well. For my purposes it works fine, but not sure I'd use it for any kind of actual super macro type photography.

I think it is always important to look at one and two star reviews along with four and five star reviews with any product you get. I’m giving a four star review because I agree mostly with the other four star reviews after buying this product. Great product I enjoy using it and I’m glad I bought it. I wish the pictures were a little clearer but you can get it to be more clear with a little trial and error when messing around with the dial. I definitely do not agree with any of the one or two star reviews. Not a bad product and I would recommend it to friends who want to use it for fun.

Works a lot better than I thought it would, only complaint is that the app is sometimes difficult but it's possible it's operator error.
